* SERVING ALL 50 STATES IN THE U.S., korea AND OTHER COUNTRIES.
Profile for Eui Suk Suh, U.S. Immigration Attorney / CPA
After having worked for 15 years in large companies in South Korea, I arrived to the US at a relatively
old age of 40 in 2001. Beginning my life in the US on a student Status, I was able to convert to a working Status, having gained employment at several immigration law firms. At firms, I worked on various
immigration matters during this time, gaining valuable hands-on experience. While working full-time,
I attended a business school at night, received an MBA, and even passed the CPA exam. All the same,
I was deeply immersed in immigration law and eventually found myself studying law part-time and ultimately
became a lawyer.
Settling in the US very late caused countless challenges to my family; I have personally learned through trial
and error as I built my life in a foreign country. The reason why I chose to become an immigration attorney
is because I am confident in my ability to share my experience, knowledge, and know-how in building the
best possible life in the US. When immigrating to the US, the most important aspects are maintaining
a legal immigration status, obtaining a permanent residence card, building a stable financial future, providing
the best possible education for your children, and to create a life for yourself with which you would be
satisfied.
Immigration attorney’s role is extremely critical in an immigrant’s life. A start to an immigrant’s life is to
comply with immigration laws that have been set forth. It is extremely difficult to lead a stable life and
settle in the US without maintaining a proper immigration status. From the start, the right immi-
gration documentation must be submitted based on individual circumstances. I have personally
seen countless clients who have filed the wrong claim, wasted time and money, and, in worst case
scenarios, lost their legal immigration status.
Immigration attorneys must be able to communicate well with their clients. Meeting with a client only
once to sign a contract is inadequate; a good lawyer must communicate with the client on a regular
basis from the moment the client walks into the office till the day the client receives his or her final
results.
Moreover, an attorney must have extensive legal knowledge, hands-on experience, and an honest mind.
Lacking any one of these factors, immigration work becomes impossible. For example, in the US,
E-2(investment immigration status) or EB5(investment immigration) can be legally approved as long
as the legal barriers are taken care of; however, the caveat is that the approved E-2 may have problems
with renewal later or the EB5(Two year Conditional Residence) may not lead to a Permanent Residence
in two year. These important caveats need to be highlighted from the get go.
Unlike other immigration attorneys, I am a rare attorney who possesses marketing, sales, and
strategic planning experience from Korean conglomerates as well as extensive hands-on immigration
law experience, expert knowledge in business administration and accounting. Utilizing all these
different skill sets has allowed me to resolve even the most difficult cases and successfully aid clients
in receiving permanent residence in the US.
Just like there's clothing that fits well for each person, cookie-cutter solutions do not adequately
address the needs of all people; immigration work is the same. Each individual situation requires
a highly customized immigration solution. Using my 30 years of business experience, trial error with my
own immigrant life, and knowledge of immigration law and experience, I will provide you with the best
possible solution regarding immigration immigration matters.
